My wife and I would like to stay in Cortona for a few weeks.
A friend and I will be in Cortona on September 1, 2011 and we will be staying for two weeks. We are so looking forward to this trip and would like any help from people who live there or have been there. We wil probably travel by train and bus most of the time, but we may rent a car for a day or two. Everything is pretty much open right now. We have our loging and that is it. I’m wondering about Euro Pass. Is it cheaper to buy before we leave the states or does it matter? Looking forward to all responses
My husband and I will be staying just outside Cortona Sept. 7-12. We have reservations on Friday evening at ll Falconiere. We’ve not been there, but it comes highly recommended by our children. It’s a short drive from Cortona and a bit of a challenge to find so get good directions if you decide to go ( make reservations). Surrounding property is beautiful Tuscan garden and cypress trees and a horse chestnut avenue. They tell us it’s marvelous cuisine accompanied by great wines. What’s not ot like! We have a car and plan to leasurely poke around the Tuscan towns for the week. Perhaps we’ll see you around the fountain in Cortona.
The Falconiere is amazing.. you’ll have a great time!
See you around then!
Lucia
